Due to the increasing population and expanding cities more human dependence on the use of vehicles for different purposes, thereby increasing the number of vehicles and the increase in the number of accidents in urban and suburban, which in this cause the consequences range in the society including the consequences will be irreparable loss of life and property damage caused by it's psychological. Hence the need for more studies on the factors affecting the incidence of accidents and try to reduce accidents and increase road safety more than ever necessary. The various reasons that cause accidents should be identified and traced, and then to analyze the causes of and solutions and ideas that are presented to reduce accidents. One of the most important, is to identify hotspots. In this study,first, data regarding accident were collected, according to the former studies and comment of accident judges, the influential parameters in accidents occurrence have been investigated and extracted. In the next step, the parameters regarding complete cause of accidents from influential factors in accident occurrence were detected and then the accident prone places were determined by using Geographic Information System and multi criteria decision making processes. Weighting parameters has been used during the multi criteria decision making process and by using these parameters, for each point, accident prone index is specified. In the next step, based on the mentioned index, the accident prone points have been prioritized by using GIS analyzes and weighted overlay.
